Even though my sometimes selfish ego wants it to be, it is not. Period. It, being most things, issues, responses, and even well-meaning criticisms.

There is usually personal pain belonging to others behind the comments or actions. Things we cannot know without honest self-disclosure. This is many times beyond the reach of the moment. We do well to simply assume there is pain causing the outburst or actions ~ forgive, detach, and walk on.

Sometimes it hurts unbearably until we come into the present moment of consciousness to welcome the learnings of human behavior.
