companion

He stays by my side
With looks of boredom, concern,
interest and hunger
Oh, and overpowering love for me
in his eyes ~
He is gorgeous with a lower lip scar from (maybe)
a barbed-wire fence escapade.
I pretend he utilized this best

with James Cagney.
