Betrayal’s Lesson

We are each many stories and experience numerous struggles. If we are honest, we each know the frazzled and weary world of betrayal.

It is sometimes difficult to understand and resolve betrayals. Yet we all have been there ~ and will be again if we live fully.

One way to perceive betrayal is that we were authentic and honest enough to not spend countless chaotic hours being suspicious. We did not worry, fret, nor morbidly reflect on what someone might be doing to us. There is a joy. There is peace.

What someone thinks of us is really none of our business (Martha Graham). Additionally, we have no control over them and very little control over ourselves.

We are free enough to keep our powerful stance toward living cleanly. We are free. Our brains are free. I’ll take that. Today.
